Irish Travellers are traditionally nomadic people of Irish origin with their own language and traditions, living predominantly in Ireland but also in Great Britain and the United States of America. Travellers refer to themselves as Minceir or Pavees in their own language or in Irish as an Lucht Siúil, meaning literally "the walking people". The European Parliament Committee of Enquiry on Racism and Xenophobia found them to be amongst the most discriminated-against ethnic groups in Ireland.Channel 4 television broadcast a documentary about Traveller weddings — My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.
For these girls, typically only 16 years old, the most important aspect of their carefully planned big day is wearing the biggest, brashest, most over-the top dress they can dream up. The eye-catching phenomenon was explored in Channel 4’s documentary My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding in February 2010, which drew an audience of 6.4 million. (Express.co.uk)

Zeitgeist is the general cultural, intellectual, ethical, spiritual, and/or political climate within a nation or even specific groups, along with the general ambience, morals, sociocultural direction, and mood associated with an era.
The term zeitgeist is from German Zeit- 'time' and Geist- 'spirit' (cognate with English ghost, without being really translatable into English - this is why the German term is used).
